Putnam County Home Services is a platform that connects homeowners with home improvement professionals. We facilitate introductions between parties but are not responsible for the actual services provided by contractors.
3. User Accounts
Account Registration: Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
Account Types: The platform supports homeowner accounts and business accounts, each with different features and responsibilities.
4. Business Verification
All business accounts undergo a verification process including license verification, insurance confirmation, and background checks. Putnam County Home Services reserves the right to approve or reject business applications at our discretion.
5. Lead Purchasing
Lead Sales: Businesses may purchase contact information for homeowner project requests.
Non-Refundable: Lead purchases are generally non-refundable except in cases of platform error.
Lead Quality: While we strive to provide quality leads, we cannot guarantee project completion or homeowner responsiveness.
6. Reviews and Ratings
Users may submit reviews and ratings for completed projects. Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on actual experiences. Putnam County Home Services reserves the right to remove reviews that violate our community guidelines.
7. Platform Limitations
Putnam County Home Services serves as a platform to connect homeowners and contractors. We are not responsible for:
- The quality of work performed by contractors
- Disputes between homeowners and contractors
- Project delays or cancellations
- Payment disputes (except for lead purchase disputes)
- Any damages resulting from contractor services
8. Prohibited Uses
You may not use Putnam County Home Services to:
- Post false or misleading information
- Harass or spam other users
- Circumvent the lead purchase system
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Interfere with platform security or functionality
9. Intellectual Property
The Putnam County Home Services platform, including its design, functionality, and content, is owned by Putnam County Home Services and protected by intellectual property laws. Users retain rights to content they submit but grant Putnam County Home Services a license to use such content for platform operations.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms or for any reason at our discretion. Users may also terminate their accounts at any time through their account settings.
